Behaviour management

The Milman State School community has identified the following school rules to teach and promote our high standards of responsible behaviour:

  • Be respectful.
  • Be responsible.
  • Be safe.

Milman State School’s responsible behaviour plan (PDF, 231 KB) is designed to facilitate high standards of behaviour so that the learning and teaching in our school can be effective and students can participate positively within our school community.

Every day counts at Milman State School so students record their attendance and positive behaviour daily in a personal booklet. The information from this is sent home every term to parents and students reflect on their term results. Students who achieve the school’s behaviour and attendance expectations are celebrated with an end of term 'Rewards parade' with certificates and prizes.
